Outsideof work.
Off the clockSurfing, big-mountain skiing, rock climbing and travel.
In the water
Most of Brennan Harmatz's free time is spent in the water: early-morning surf sessions, reef breaks, wave pools when the ocean is flat, and wakesurfing behind a boat. Surfing came long before any of his companies, and it is still the thing he plans his schedule around.
@haarmatzIn the mountains
Winters are for big-mountain skiing and tree runs after a fresh storm. Summers are for the same mountains in a different season: alpine lakes, cold water, long days and cliff jumps. Skiing steep terrain is also where he practices making good decisions quickly. As he puts it, fear is information.

Climbing and training
Bouldering is a break from screens that still keeps his problem-solving sharp. A route on the wall and a problem at work get solved the same way: study it, try it, fall and adjust. Between climbing sessions, he trains for DEKA fitness races and makes time for recovery.

Fear is information. Learn to read it.
On riskSeeing the world
Tenre works with companies around the world, so work and travel often overlap. A client meeting might fall in the same week as a reef dive or a walk through rice fields. The rest is time with friends on boats and small planes, a visit to an elephant sanctuary, and a long-standing love of classic cars.
